Believers prayer: Ephesians 1:17-2:6 rewritten in the first person by Cliff Newman (pray out loud everyday)
Dad, Thank You [for I always pray to] You the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that You may grant me a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in Your [deep and intimate] knowledge, by having the eyes of my heart flooded with light, so that I can know and understand the hope to which You have called me, and how rich is Your glorious inheritance in the saints (Your setapart ones), and [so that I can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of Your power in and for me who believes, as demonstrated in the working of Your mighty strength, which You exerted in Christ when You raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at Your [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.
And You Dad, have put all things under the feet of Jesus and have appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], who is His body, the fullness of You Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Jesus Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].
And me [Jesus made alive], when I was dead (slain) by [my] trespasses and sins in which at one time I walked [habitually]. I was following the course and fashion of this world [was under the sway of tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [I was obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against Your purposes].
Among these I once lived and conducted myself in the passions of my flesh [my behavior governed by my corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [my cravings dictated by my senses and my dark imaginings]. I was then by nature a child of [Your] wrath and heir of [Your] indignation, like the rest of mankind.
But You Dad—are so rich in mercy!
Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which You loved me, even when I was dead (slain) by [my own] shortcoming and trespasses, You made me alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [You gave me the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which You quickened Jesus, for] it is by grace (Your favor and mercy which I did not deserve) that I was saved (delivered from judgment and made a partaker of Christ’s salvation).
And Dad, You raised me up together with Jesus and made me sit down together [giving me joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of my being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
And He said to them, I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven. 19 Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. 20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are enrolled in heaven. [Luke 10:18-20 (original Amplified)]
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! 16 The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. 17 And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. 18 [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and for us and conferred on us! [Romans 8:14-18 (original Amplified)]
But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Isaiah 40:31 (original Amplified)]

Authority of The Believer: [Scripture basis]
[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, 18 by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His setapart ones), 19 and [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, 20 which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. 22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself]. 1 And you [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins 2 in which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God]. 3 Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God’s] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind. 4 But God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcoming and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation). 6 And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
